Building chipoteke and Ho-Chunk scenes

 Students took on a great challenge this week of building a traditional Ho-Chunk home, called a chipoteke. They then decorated the scene with items to represent the lives of the Ho-Chunk which we read about in the book Mountain Wolf Woman- A Ho-Chunk Girlhood.  Our builders/designers/creators had some struggles, but also many successes! Here are some pics of our hard work!
